A Kilkenny participant in the famous Boston Tea Party will be commemorated at a special event in Rothe House this Sunday (Sept 24th).![]()
Thomas White was born in Kilkenny in 1739 and when he emigrated to America he took part in what would become possibly the most pivotal event in the lead up to the American Revolutionary War!![]()

Join us for free this Sunday from 2pm as a delegation from the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum will unveil a plaque to the memory of Thomas White. ![]()
