Springtime is awash with debate and discussion.
In association with the Kilkenny Archaeological Society here are three events for March/April:
Friday 15th March: Debate: St. Patrick christianised Ireland, chaired by Olivia O’Leary with teams from NUIG and NUID. 8.00 pm, Parade Tower, Kilkenny Castle (by kind permission of the OPW).
Tuesday 2nd April – Thursday 4th April: Emigration Through the Centuries – a Gathering Initiative. Discover why people emigrated from Kilkenny – combination of lectures, guided tours and outings.
Saturday 27th April: One Day Conference : The History of Rothe House, Kilkenny – archaeologists and historians presenting their findings on recent research undertaken as part of the Conservation Project at Rothe House & Garden.
