Hello, I’m new to your site and I just read that last year at The Gathering 2013, Mr. Jack Burtchaell MA gave a lecture on Newfoundland emigration from SE Ireland. Is there a paper or publication concerning that lecture available ? I am tracing my family roots in Ireland to Newfoundland. The first record I have here is of a land deed 1801 for ‘our’ Philip Hines. Thank you, Wayne Hynes, St. John’s, NL, Canada.
